About Me

My Passion

I love photography and just about every aspect of it. To explore places, both old and new, is always an adventure for me. I find the excitement of being an artist seeing new features and possibilities of each place I go, and then sharing this with others, is rewarding on many levels. My passion is photography, the Art of photography, it drives me to search for the perfect scene, subject, moment in time.

I come from a long history of photography experiences starting back to 1958 when I got my first studio job doing portraits of models. From here I worked for various studios and eventually opened my own studio back in 1986. Today I own and operate an small studio in The Dalles, Oregon doing portraits (weddings, seniors, families, etc) and commercial work.

I teach classes in Photography and Photoshop at Columbia Gorge Community College (CGCC) in The Dalles, Oregon, and at Central Oregon Community College (COCC) in Bend, Oregon. On weekends I do photography safaris and photo workshops throughout the Pacific Northwest and in Italy.
